Bettina Rebecca Westerheide is a multidisciplinary German artist.
She studied Design, Painting, Visual Communication and Dance in Berlin and Cologne.
Artistically she worked in a wide variety: such in classical painting, in media arts, film moving images and interactivity, in classical and contemporary music, acting, dance and professionally trained singing and speaking voice. She successfully completed international projects together with reputed artists, directors and composers as well as with state institutions and business enterprises.
After having worked professionally for many years as an international Designer/Art Director,
she decided in 2014 devoting herself completely to the professional artistic work of Fine Arts painting, living and working between Berlin and Spain.
Her works have been presented e.g. at the EXPO World Fair Hannover,
at the German Federal Ministry of Environment, at the Transmediale Berlin,
at the Munich Biennial or at the International Art Fair Arteminas in Madrid.
She realized an intermedial opera in Media Arts, commissioned work for the Siemens Arts Program International.
She has been nominated for the Prize of Peace in section of Painting in Austria in 2010.
Her artistic works are to find in public collections in Germany and Spain and in private collections in more than 12 countries.
